Who we are
Onja is built and run by Ni Biashara LLC, a company based in Dallas, Texas. If you have a question about any of this, email [email protected] — a person reads it, not a ticket queue.
What we collect
We try to keep this to what we actually need to run your shop:
- Your operator account info. Your name, email address, and shop details — business name, slug, menu items and prices, and anything else you type into your console.
- Order data. Every order placed through your ordering page: what was bought, the amount, and the customer's email address, which we keep so a receipt can actually be sent and so you have a record if a customer asks about their order later.
- Payments — handled by Stripe. When a customer pays, their card details go straight to Stripe. We never see, touch, or store a card number — Onja only ever gets back a payment result (paid, amount, fee) and a Stripe reference id.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics on the ordering pages and this site to understand traffic and what's working, the same way most small businesses do.
- Transactional email. We send account, receipt, and daily-brief emails through Resend, a transactional email provider. It sees the email address and message content needed to deliver those specific emails — nothing more.
Why we collect it
Every piece of data above exists to do one of three things: run your ordering page and take orders correctly, send you the daily brief that tells you what happened and what money came in, or help you (or a customer) when something needs support. We don't collect data "just in case" — if we're not using it for one of those, we don't ask for it.
What we never do
- We never sell your data — yours or your customers' — to anyone, for any reason.
- We never edit your content. Your menu, your shop name, your prices — that's yours. We post what you upload; we don't rewrite it, and we don't publish anything on your behalf that you didn't put there.
- We never see your customers' card numbers. That's Stripe's job, not ours, by design.
How long we keep it
In plain terms: as long as your shop is active, plus a reasonable window afterward for the things a real business needs — tax records, resolving a payment dispute, or answering a question about an old order. If you close your shop and ask us to delete your account data, we will, aside from what we're legally required to keep (mainly payment and tax-related records) and anything already reflected in a customer's own receipt, which is theirs to keep.
Questions
Email [email protected] for anything not covered here — a data request, a correction, or just a question about what we hold on your shop.
